A total lunar eclipse will occur on March 3, 2026. The eclipse will begin early in the morning at 3:44 AM EST and will end at approximately 9:23 AM EST. In observance of the eclipse, the Mandir will remain closed during eclipse hours and open at 10:00 AM. Mandir will follow the regular daily schedule after eclipse time.

About Rajdhani Mandir

The Rajdhani Mandir, located in Chantilly, Virginia, was inaugurated in March 2000 on an eight-acre wooded site. Representing Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist faiths, it serves as an oasis for the DC Hindu community. The Mandir provides a serene environment for people to connect with God and offers a well-lit prayer hall. It caters to religious needs through scheduled pujas and abhishekams, while also hosting cultural programs and Sunday religion classes for children to preserve our heritage.
